The biltong releases lovely juices and sweet smoky flavours with a gentle hint of teriyaki. Well-balanced throughout. This has good beefy aromas on the nose and there is some moisture left in the strips as you chew. The promised smoky flavours are there and there is a good sweet/savoury balance. These are very neatly prepped pieces of healthy looking biltong. They are tender, chewy and juicy in the mouth and have a good level of salt which is just enough to make them moreish. There is lots of sweetness from the meat and seasoning and a gentle smoke to add another layer of interest.”
