Tender slices of grass-fed beef, marinated and cooked slowly over natural smoke for a sweet, savoury, umami finish. It takes 175g of beef to make every 100g of jerky.

Ten individually sealed 28g packs, so the rest stay fresh while you work through the box. 11g of protein and 83 kcal per pack, MSG-free. Contains soya and wheat from the soy sauce marinade.

What does Original jerky taste like?
Sweet and smoky rather than spicy — the mildest of our three jerky flavours. If you want heat, try Peppered or Sweet Hot.

Does it contain MSG?
No — none in the recipe.

Is it gluten-free?
No — it contains wheat from the soy sauce. Our Original and Chilli biltong are gluten-free if that's what you need.

How long does it keep?
Unopened, see the best-before date on the pack. Once opened, eat within 24 hours.
